Fashion Assassins.

I woke up today with a new issue of Jeune Magazine (a magazine from Bandung, Indonesia) on my doorstep. I was asked to contribute some works for this issue. One was to make an illustration for an article about fashion copycats. The other was for the "Flaunt" section, which is a one page special for Indonesian artist/photographer/designer that features their works involving fashion. yay. So i sent all my girls from the Squared and Disfigured neighborhood to rock the Jeune house this issue. Betet's and Darbotz's works are also featured in this issue. So pick up the magazines at local bookstores now and enjoy :)

all the streets today gathered on one rooftop.

After being postponed for a week, finally the Sydney siders (the always friendly and lovely trio: Jule, Syd, Mirzie from Notorious Fam clothing line) with the help of some friends held the Notorious Exhibition last night. It was the launching nite for their clothing line in Jakarta, which featured works from local street artists, labels and collectives such as Darbotz, Kims, Last Supper,Footurama, etc. I was asked to contribute an artwork for this exhibition so i decided to have one my Big Eyes creatures to represent. The poster itself was called "Gun-Shy", why? just look at the poster and you'll know why. The exhibition itself was a major success and below are some of the pictures from last night.
